Course work on DevOps

Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible. Deployment automation and infrastructure monitoring.

from UAH 3,500 Term from 7 days

Directions of coursework on DevOps

From containerization of one application to full-fledged cloud infrastructure with automatic deployment, monitoring and logging.

Docker / Docker Compose

Application containerization: Dockerfile, multi-stage builds, Docker Compose for multi-container environments. Networks, volumes, health checks and image optimization.

from UAH 3,500

Kubernetes

Container orchestration: Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets. Automatic scaling (HPA), rolling updates and canary deployments.

from UAH 4,000

CI/CD pipelines

Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD. Automatic assembly, testing, linting, assembly of Docker images and deployment to the staging/production environment.

from UAH 3,500

Terraform / Ansible (IaC)

Infrastructure as Code: description of infrastructure in configuration files. Terraform for cloud resource provisioning, Ansible for server configuration and automation.

from UAH 4,000

Monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

Collection of metrics with Prometheus, visualization in Grafana dashboards, centralized logging via ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). Alerts and SLAs.

from UAH 4,000

Linux administration

Bash scripts for automation, systemd services, nginx/apache configuration, cron tasks, user management, firewall (iptables, ufw) and SSH.

from UAH 3,000

How we work

1

TK analysis

We study the methodology, define the technological stack, architecture and infrastructure requirements

2

Projecting

We create an architectural diagram, describe the CI/CD pipeline, configure the environment

3

Implementation

We write Dockerfile, K8s configurations, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform modules and automation scripts

4

Demonstration

We show a video with a working pipeline, monitoring dashboards, you pay after inspection

What is included in the DevOps course

  • Kubernetes manifests (YAML) or Terraform configurations
  • Architectural diagram of the infrastructure
  • Monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
  • Automation bash scripts and README with instructions
  • Documentation and explanatory note

Reviews of DevOps courses

"Course with Docker: containerization of a microservice application with 4 services. Docker Compose, nginx as a reverse proxy, PostgreSQL in a separate container. Everything is launched with one command!"

Ihor M.
Khnure, Kharkiv

"Ordered a CI/CD course: GitHub Actions pipeline with autotests, Docker image build and deployment on AWS. Detailed documentation of each stage. Excellent protection!"

Kateryna P.
NTUU "KPI", Kyiv

"Terraform course: description of AWS infrastructure in code, modules for VPC, EC2, RDS. Plus Ansible for server configuration. The instructor was delighted with the level of automation."

Frequently asked questions about DevOps courses

DevOps is a methodology and set of practices that combine software development (Development) and its operation (Operations). Includes containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), deployment automation (CI/CD), infrastructure management as code (Terraform, Ansible), and monitoring. DevOps engineers are one of the most sought-after specialists in the IT market.

Docker is a containerization tool for packaging applications. Kubernetes is an orchestration platform for managing a cluster of containers. For the basic course, we recommend Docker with Docker Compose: it is simpler and sufficient for most TK. Kubernetes is chosen for complex projects with microservices, autoscaling and high availability.

CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment) is an automated process that starts with each push to the repository: project assembly, test run, code quality check (linting), Docker image assembly and deployment to the server. We configure pipelines for Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps with a full description of each step.

Yes, we run courses with deployment in AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda), Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine), Microsoft Azure (AKS, App Service, Azure Functions). We use free tariffs (free tier) for educational projects so that you do not incur additional costs.

The standard delivery time is from 7 days. A simple course with Docker Compose is completed in 5-7 days. A project with Kubernetes cluster, CI/CD and Terraform can take 10-14 days. The cost starts from UAH 3,500 and depends on the complexity of the infrastructure and the number of technologies.
